Before you begin
Your questions, answered.
Everything you need to know about the sky, your wording, silhouettes and the finished piece.
Is the star map astronomically accurate?
Yes. Every map is calculated from astronomical catalogue data for your chosen city, date and local time, including the stars, constellations and Milky Way above that moment.
How precise does the location need to be?
Your nearest city is enough. We use city-centre coordinates, so there is no need to share an exact address.
Can I choose a past or future date?
Yes. The creator supports dates from 1900 to 2100, whether you are preserving a memory or looking ahead to a moment still to come.
How does the bespoke silhouette work?
Tick the silhouette option in the creator and describe the people, place or scene you would like beneath the stars. Our team creates it as part of your map production. The live preview shows your sky and wording; your bespoke silhouette is created after purchase.
What can I personalise?
Choose the city, date, local time, personal wording, light or dark finish, A4 or A3 size, and a Black or White frame, or print only. You can also request a bespoke silhouette.
What happens after I order?
Your chosen date, time, coordinates and wording are passed to our team to prepare your final artwork. Delivery is free across the UK.
