What photograph works best?
Choose a sharp, well-lit, eye-level photograph with both eyes visible. Keep the face, ears and distinctive coat markings unobstructed, and avoid filters, blur and heavy shadows.
Can I upload more than one photograph?
Yes. You can add up to three photographs so we have the clearest possible reference for their expression, colouring and markings.
Will the finished portrait still look like my pet?
Yes. The costume and setting create the character, but your pet’s likeness remains central. Clear photographs and any notes about eye colour or markings help us preserve the details you recognise immediately.
Which sizes and finishes are available?
Portraits are available in A4 and A3. You can choose the print on its own or add a black, white or ornate gold frame.
Can I add special instructions?
Yes. Use the Finer Details box to tell us about eye colour, coat markings, build, personality or any small feature that matters.
What if there is a problem with my print?
Every finished portrait is covered by the IntoTheCanvas quality guarantee. If something is not right, we will make it right, including a free reprint where needed.
